Hi, I’m Cristin Goss aka GossBoss and I’m brand photographer and videographer. I love helping ambitious, action-taking female entrepreneurs and business owners create fabulous branded visuals that captivate their audience and help sell more products and services. As a size 12/14 I’m on a new journey, learning how to confidently dress and love my curves. I enjoy mixing classic pieces with the latest trends and I’m also learning how to incorporate colors and patterns.

What does personal style mean to you? When you hear the word “fashion” what does it mean to you?

Personal style to me means that it’s constantly evolving. But it’s also about taking the time to learn what your new personal style is and how to embrace the change. After becoming a mom I defaulted to the “mom uniform” of comfy, oversized clothes and didn’t put much thought into building outfits or a personal style. It’s not easy to accept that we’ve changed after having kids, but the truth is that we have. I now realize that I want a more mature and classic look, but with some bold pops of personality. I am no fashionista, but I still enjoy adding some trendy pieces occasionally!

Personal Style: How do you think it is acquired? How did you acquire yours?

As I mentioned above, I didn’t really find my personal style until I realized I didn’t have one. What I mean is that I never really knew a lot about fashion and so I just pulled from what others around me were wearing. But after I became a mom and grew into the confident woman I am today that’s when I realized I had my personal style all along, I just needed some help bringing it to light!

Tell us about the piece of clothing in your wardrobe that makes you feel most confident?

I just purchased my first wrap dress and I’m IN LOVE. We all know the infamous style created by Diane von Furstenberg, but it just wasn’t on my radar until recently. Now I wish maybe one day I can invest in a DVF, but I found an emerald (my power color!) wrap dress on Amazon for $33 and it hugs my curves in all the right places and makes me feel so beautiful AND powerful.

What staple pieces do you believe every woman should own?

Cocktail dress (LBD or I’d prefer an emerald or pink), nice tailored jacket or blazer, curve-hugging jeans, and basic white tee.
